Superion – Alfaroc logistics centre

Louhintahiekka served as the turnkey earthworks contractor for the 38,000 m² logistics center in Tuusula, responsible for geotechnical design, earthworks, piling works, and the surface structures of the yard areas.

The foundation construction was challenging as the logistics centre was built on soft ground. Approximately 70,000 meters of piling was completed with minimal waste.

Special attention was given to material recycling in the project, leading to significant cost savings.

The project's excellent execution was also recognized when the Finnish Concrete Industry Association (Betoniteollisuus ry) named it the Piling Project of the Year 2023.

We also built logistics facilities for Alfaroc in Lahti in collaboration with Superion Oy during 2018–2019.
