The bioproduct mill is the largest investment in the history of Finland's forest industry, worth over 2 billion euros. It’s a wood processing mill producing pulp and other bioproducts without fossil fuels, representing cutting-edge technology and sustainable development.

Louhintahiekka played a significant role in the project's demanding foundation and structural works. We carried out the earthworks and in-situ concrete casting works for the massive structures in the causticizing plant area and the lime kiln, as well as the in-situ concrete work for the CLO2 plant.

The project was characterized by particularly challenging concrete structures and close coordination with other contractors. Louhintahiekka’s work included a total of 22,500 cubic meters of concrete and approximately 2.6 million kilograms of steel.
