Louhintahiekka is growing towards revenue of 200 million euros.
Today, December 20, 2024, marks one year since the current management acquired Louhintahiekka.
The past year has been filled with hard work, challenges, and successes. We have achieved a great deal.
As new owners, one of our first actions was to create a new strategy for Louhintahiekka extending to 2030. As part of this new era, we also introduced a refreshed brand, new values, and a brand promise. We developed a modern logo and significantly improved our website.
We are making significant progress with our 2030 strategy toward achieving revenue of 200 million euros. Over the past 12 months, our invoicing has grown by approximately 20%, and our order book is at record levels. We have invested 2.5 million euros in more efficient equipment to support the growth elements of our strategy. Our office in the Capital Area relocated to new premises in Helsinki, and in Tampere, we will move into a new office at the beginning of the year.
Our personnel are the cornerstone of our success. This year 27 new employees joined Louhintahiekka, including three project managers and nine site managers. We have strengthened our administrative functions by hiring a recruiter, an HR specialist, and a fleet manager. We have also focused on the well-being of our staff. The results of our employee survey indicate that we are on the right track. The average score for our job satisfaction survey was 4.01 (compared to the industry average of 3.81), and our NPS score was 47 (industry average 30).
The outlook for 2025 appears encouraging. The government’s proposed additional investments in infrastructure construction and renovation, combined with the positive effects of declining interest rates on private sector and industrial investments, present excellent opportunities for implementing our strategy.
At this point in the calendar year and the end of Louhintahiekka’s first operational year under new management, it is time to extend our heartfelt thanks to our customers, partners, and the entire staff. A warm thank you for your commitment and valuable contributions. Together, we have achieved a great deal. It is a pleasure to work with such an amazing team.
