The goal of the South-Nummela business area and the Rosti Business Park is to increase the availability of plots for businesses with excellent transport connections within the municipality of Vihti in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Microsoft's Vihti data center is also currently under construction in the Rosti Business Park.

The project includes the construction of Rostintie, Kauhuskuja, Kukkulankuja, and Kukkulanpolku streets, as well as the area's water supply and stormwater management systems. Additionally, the project involves building the Rostintie junction connecting to Highway 110.

– The project will involve constructing a total of 1.6 kilometres of new streets with municipal infrastructure. The work includes several phases, such as soil replacement, excavation, backfilling, crushing, municipal infrastructure installation, asphalting, and landscaping. One of Louhintahiekka’s key competitive advantages and core competencies is executing mass replacement efficiently and sustainably, ensuring that excavated materials can be reused on-site, thus avoiding unnecessary transportation of materials," explains Aapo Lahtinen, CEO of Louhintahiekka.

The work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
