Founded in 1974, Louhintahiekka Oy is one of the leading infrastructure construction companies in Finland, specialising in complex and demanding projects. It offers a wide range of services such as earth and rock engineering, road construction, foundation and concrete construction and industrial construction services.
Louhintahiekka is a well-known and respected company in the infrastructure construction sector and has skilled personnel and excellent references. It has a sound financial position, its equipment is in a great condition and the order book is strong. We see a significant potential to further develop the business and continue Louhintahiekka’s journey into the next decade, says Aapo Lahtinen, who will be the CEO of Louhintahiekka.
We wanted to find good successors for our company who understand the business and industry. It was important to find a long-term and committed owner who respects Louhintahiekka’s long history and traditions, says outgoing owner and CEO Mika Jokela.
Louhintahiekka's revenue exceeded 100 million € and EBITDA one million € in the last financial year (ended 31 May 2023). The company's strong balance sheet and the stable economic outlook for infrastructure construction are an excellent foundation for business development and continued growth.
We aim to be a profitable and growing infrastructure construction company specialising in demanding work. We will invest in growth in line with long-term trends and continue to be involved in building significant projects in Finland. We aim to be an attractive and safe employer for our employees and a reliable, flexible and professional partner for our customers, continues Lahtinen.
